Palo Cathedral after Yolanda

The Palo Cathedral of Transfiguration which was originally built by the Franciscans in 1898 was a refuge, as it has always been in the past, by the people of Palo, Leyte and even by the media when Super Typhoon Yolanda whipped Central Visayas.   The structural strength of the Cathedral was no match to the 23o kph lashes of Yolanda.  But the faith of the faithful of Palo that withstood for centuries now was never dented a bit by the Super Storm.   (Photo:  CBCPNews /Roy Lagarde)
