GUMACA, Quezon, Dec. 22, 2009—Sending his traditional Christmas greetings to Gumaca faithful, Bishop Buenaventura Famadico urged his flock to allow themselves to become instruments of God’s love especially in this season of Christmas.

He said the gift of Jesus has been the greatest expression of God’s love for humanity, even as he urged his faithful to “receive Jesus in our hearts,” and to “allow Jesus in our hearts to love others through us.”

The bishop said God gave everyone a heart “that could receive and give love” and that he continues to love everyone “no matter what situation he is in, including sin.”

“Everyone who receives his love is made capable of loving others by sharing the love of God he has received,” he further explained.

The prelate said God’s “greatest expression of love for us is his gift Jesus.” (Melo M. Acuna)
